The Angels are a hard rock band that formed in Adelaide, Australia in 1970. For the purposes of international release, their records were released under the names Angel City and later The Angels From Angel City.
Thom Jurek of AMG noted, “. . . there is so much injustice in the way music is marketed and presented, often undeserving bands get the limelight, when others, in this case Australia’s Angels, [go unrecognised]”.
