Japanese video game designer, director and producer, who worked for Irem, Capcom and SNK, before founding his own company Dimps. He is best known for his work on martial arts action games, designing the early 1984 beat 'em up Kung-Fu Master before he went on to create several fighting game franchises including Street Fighter, Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters during the late 1980s to early 1990s.
