Sy Bartlett

Sidney "Sy" Bartlett was a Ukrainian-American author, screenwriter and film producer known for "Twelve O'Clock High" (1949), "The Big Country" (1958) and "Cape Fear" (1962). Bartlett also served in the U.S. Army Pictorial Service during World War II. He later transferred to Army Air Corps, serving as an intelligence officer and bombardier, attaining the rank of Major. He was also part of the first American crew to bomb Berlin.
