Description:
Watson is of Jamaican heritage, with both her parents being born in the island nation. Her middle name, Kelechi indicates also that she may be of Nigerian Heritage as it is an Igbo name meaning "Thank God".[2] Watson obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program.[3]
