Description: Susan Gayle Engel was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Eileen Marie (Johnston), a cosmetologist, and Jerry Edward Engel, a truck driver for United Parcel Service. In memory of her father, Susan started up a production company, LightSwitch Films, using the name that was created for her father as his CB handle while working as a truck driver. Susan has directed, written and produced features, shorts, documentaries and music videos. Her feature film 'Haunted Maze' played at many festivals and was nominated in the categories of: Best Female Filmmaker, Best Editing and Best Horror Film.
