Summer Cummings was born Lisa L. McVay on March 4, 1968 in Reno, Nevada. Summer began her career in the entertainment industry as a dancer at a local bar in her native Reno. Cummings then moved to San Francisco, California, where she did live shows at the O'Farrell Theater and some modeling before she started performing in adult movies in 1990.
