Ability to merge Person pages that are alternate names for the same person

Here's 3 people pages who are all the same person:

An example is models who start out lacking an IMDb page and then later get one after their first role and someone creates a new Listal page based on the name they see on IMDb, which is different than the one that already exists on Listal.

Are you suggesting there are cases where its desirable to maintain more than one listal page for the same person rather than merging duplicates?

no just that the time the programmers have is limited and i really REALLY want my misc. category.
also: A single section in every item and person to identify any relation they have with any other item. Such as same 'universe' or married to etc.

if we are given the ability to merge a profile with a duplicate "which i think we should be able to do" couple question come up,
1. how are the duplicate images cleaned up?
2. how/who decides which profile is the master profile? - my opinion the newer should be merged into the oldest...
