Support sites besides Youtube for trailers. There are many dead Youtube links.

Youtube simply uses an automated scanner to determine takedowns. Since a trailer includes content from the full movie, its taken down automatically if the rights holder has uploaded their movie to be parsed by Youtube's scanners. Is it a trailer or is it part 1 of 17 of the full movie? They're not going to spend the money to examine each upload to find out. Look for the problem to increase because there are also cases of non-rights-holders uploading movies that haven't been uploaded by the true rights-holders and them setting other 'infringing' videos to get deleted automatically so that they'll get all the ad revenue. This will spur the true rights holders for every movie to upload their movie rather than off-an-on situation it is now.

Filmsmash.com just had their account taken down for the 3rd time when all they've done is post trailers that weren't available elsewhere or not with the appropriate English title. They've gone to hosting their own videos, so it would good if you could simply include links where embeds aren't available.

There's another suggestion for this: http://www.listal.com/suggestion/402 ;)
