Not sure what you mean by Automatic notification, but I've added the suggestions to the "My Updates" feed.

The updates feed is good too, but I was thinking of making it like the rest of the choices under My Profile > Settings. Adding checkboxes for 'Send me an email to address@host.net

when someone adds a comment on one of my suggestions.
