Twice the Speed of Life is the major-label debut album of American country music group Sugarland, released on October 26, 2004, on Mercury Nashville Records. Certified 3× Multi-Platinum in the United States for sales of over three million copies, it features the singles "Baby Girl", "Something More", "Just Might (Make Me Believe)", and "Down in Mississippi (Up to No Good)", which peaked at #2, #2, #7, and #17, respectively, on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The group received a nomination for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards of 2006. Twice the Speed of Life was Sugarland's only album as a trio, before Kristen Hall left in December 2005.
Enjoy the Ride is the second album by the country duo Sugarland, released on November 7, 2006 on Mercury Nashville Records. The album is the first one released with Sugarland as a duo (comprising Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush), as former member Kristen Hall had departed earlier in 2006.
The album debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 and at #2 on the US Country Album Chart, selling 211,000 copies in its first week; these were also its peak positions on the two charts. A year after release on December 3, 2007, the RIAA certified "Enjoy the Ride" 2x Multi-Platinum, for shipments of 2 million copies, and later on April 15, 2010, the RIAA certified "Enjoy the Ride" 3x Multi-Platinum, for shipments of 3 million copies. The album produced four chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, all of which were Top Ten hits. "Want To" and "Settlin'" (respectively the first and second singles) were both Number One hits, with the former being their first U.S. Number One. "Everyday America", the third single, was a #9 on the country charts and was used on the TV series Good Morning America. The final single was the acoustic ballad "Stay", which peaked at #2.
Love on the Inside is the third album by the American country music duo Sugarland, released in 2008 (see 2008 in country music) on Mercury Nashville Records. It was first released on July 22, 2008 as a Deluxe Fan Edition, including five bonus tracks, with the regular edition following one week later. The album has produced three chart singles in "All I Want to Do", "Already Gone" and "It Happens", all Number One hits on the Billboard country singles charts. The fourth single, "Joey", reached Top 20. The release of the fifth single "Keep You" was cancelled. It is also the first album of the duo's career to reach Number One on Top Country Albums and The Billboard Top 200. The album has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA with sales of over 2 million copies in the U.S.
The Incredible Machine is the fourth studio album by American country music duo Sugarland. It was released on October 19, 2010 via Mercury Nashville Records. Byron Gallimore along with both members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush teamed up for production of the album.
Upon its release, The Incredible Machine received mixed reviews from music critics. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling approximately 203,000 units in its first week and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
The first single, "Stuck Like Glue", was sent to radio stations on July 26, 2010 and debuted at #44 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the week of August 7, 2010. It also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #20 shifting 93,000 downloads, making it the highest debut on that chart by a country music group or duo. Nettles commented on the song, saying it "is just plain, unashamed, Sugar-fun! It sticks in your brain, no pun intended. To me it feels young, hip and of course sassy”!
"Little Miss", the second single, was released on November 15, 2010 from The Incredible Machine, peaking at number 11 of Hot Country Songs. "Tonight" followed as the album's third single in April.
