Steve attended his first Karate class was at the age of 5. He hated it and did not come back until he was 9 and decided to be able to kick like the Turtles. There he began again at the Tom Bloom Karate in Thousand Oaks in California. He trained terribly hard and only stopped to eat and sleep.
After over 9 years of training and suffering from a back injury after winter-sports he managed to gain his black belt in Tang Soo Do in 1997 and his 2nd degree in 1999.
Steve is now working for his 3rd degree and a Tang Soo Do instructor. Sometimes he's able to make some time free. If so he uses that time to train in Wu Shu and Tae Kw
