Stephan Apelgren

Stephan Apelgren is a Swedish film director, screenwriter and audio engineer. Apelgren started out his artistic career as a musician, but later decided to study audio engineering at the University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre (Swedish: Dramatiska Institutet) through 1984 and 1987. Apelgren debuted as a film director in 1991 with the TV series "Sunes sommar" which almost instantly became a classic in Sweden. Other notable works include "Wallander", "Varg Veum" and "Beck".
