Small Town Get Up (STGU) is a 7 piece ska/punk/posthardcore band from Grimsby, Ontario. After spontaneously forming in early 2009, Small Town Get Up has wowed audiences with their unusual cohesiveness and unique four horn set up. To describe their sound with a few sentences would be impossible, as no two of their songs sound the same. Crossing every genre from reggae to rock, pop to punk and ska to swing, they have a song for every listener. Small Town Get Up has opened for numerous well-established bands which include The Snips, Dodger, Sound One and Mustard Plug.
