Born in Santa Maria on California's Central Coast, Sierra's affinity of the arts began in Kindergarten when she performed as 'Snow White' in her first play. Sierra performed in several school plays throughout her elementary and high school years while also playing both softball and basketball. After high school, Sierra did not have the funds to attend a 4 year university so she quickly found work and began attending Cuesta Community College.
