Description:
Shilla D’Armas went to the Bradenton Academy and was ranked ninth in the ITF junior girls in the area. She then attended Florida International University and was an instant tennis star in both singles and in doubles with Courtney Jonson and Christine Suard.
Shilla played in the Sun Belt Conference Championship finals and led FIU to their first league title. She was seeded fifth in the 2005 ITA Southern Regional Championships.
Shilla has also appeared in season one of the TV reality show Wall Street Warriors.
