Shigeru Kanai (้ไบ ่, Kanai Shigeru) is an actor who played Yuusaku Hayakawa (MegaSilver) in Denji Sentai Megaranger. Prior to Sentai, Kanai appeared as Daisaku Katagiri Icon-crosswiki.png (G-Stag) in the Metal Heroes series Juukou B-Fighter Icon-crosswiki.png. In December 2010 he was candidate for Japan's Democratic Party's official. In the 2011 local elections in Edogawa, held on April 24, he won the 10th with 4606 votes.
