Description: Raja was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After becoming bored in “regular” school and showing an aptitude for the arts, she enrolled in the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, according to her profile on CBS. She spent a year in London at Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe and graduated with a BFA in acting from Rutgers University. Upon graduation, Raja moved to New York City to continue acting.
