Saya Misaki was born in 1985 in Hokkaidō, the northern island of Japan. She began her career in the adult industry at age 19 in April 2005 with the S1 No. 1 Style studio as a featured performer. After 6 months with S1, she went to Moodyz where she remained for another 6 months before moving on to work for a number of independent studios.
She was a supporter of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team and was a regular user of the Japanese internet forum 2channel, where she had the tripcode.
