RSS information

Listal namespace

A listal namespace has been added to all feeds to add the following information :

<listal:rating> (0-10)
<listal:used> (Yes,Using,No) - not for movies
<listal:asin> (amazon ASIN number) - not for movies
<listal:imdb> (imdb number) - movies only

For the export section the following private data is added

<listal:condition> ('Mint', 'NearMint', 'Good', 'Average', 'Poor')
<listal:notes> (private notes)
<listal:loanedtype> (loan type 'listal' or 'other' or blank)
<listal:loanedto> (listal username or other name)
<listal:loaneddate> (loan date in unix timestamp format)
<listal:listtype> ('owned' or 'wanted')

The easiest way to get a rss url is to view a list page (owned or wanted) and the rss link will appear at the bottom, you can change sorting and filtering options and the link will be updated. If you want you can also manually form the url by using the parameters below :

Example urls

1. Standard owned list sorted by data added (descending)
http://tom.listal.com/rss/dvds/owned/

2. As above but with different sorting and filtering.
http://tom.listal.com/rss/dvds/owned/?rating=8&used=Yes&sortby=rating-desc&limit=10
