Description: Born: London, England. She grew up in Tottenham, London and studied at the Embassy School of Acting. Redheaded leading lady Rosamund John entered films as a Scottish girl in 'The Secret of the Loch' (1934) before starting out on the stage the following year the West End stage production of 'Anthony and Cleopatra'. Spotted by the legendary impresario C.B.Cochran, she went on to appear in the revue 'Home and Beauty'.
