Robin Thede is a comedy writer and comedic actress. She is the daughter of Dave Thede, a teacher, and Phyllis Thede, Iowa House Representative. She has two sisters, Acacia and Mackenzie. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, earning a B.S.J. degree in Broadcast Journalism and African-American Studies. After college, Robin studied improv, sketch and comedy writing at The Second City in Chicago.
