It spawned two top 10 singles, "Hell No!" and "Sunshine", and both songs were certified gold by the ARIA.

In 2006, Coulter briefly became a member of all-girl pop group Young Divas, before resuming her solo career early in 2007. Her second studio album, Brand New Day, was released on 11 August 2007. The album peaked at number 37 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold. The album spawned three singles, with "Can't Touch It" being the lead single. The song peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum. "Love Is All Around" and "Can't Sing a Different Song" were released as the album's second and third singles, respectively. Both songs reached the top 10. Coulter's first compilation album, Ricki-Lee: The Singles, was released on 8 November 2008. Its lead single, "Wiggle It", peaked at number 11 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Coulter was expected to release her third studio album, Hear No, See No, Speak No, in November 2009. The two singles which preceded the album's release were notably unsuccessful compared to Coulter's previous singles. The first single, "Don’t Miss You", peaked at number 24 on the ARIA Singles Chart, while the second single, "Hear No, See No, Speak No", peaked at number 46. Eventually, Coulter told her record label to cancel the album's release due to the singles struggling on the charts. In 2011, she ended her contract with Shock Records and signed with major record label EMI. In October 2011, Coulter released "Raining Diamonds" as the first single from her now upcoming third studio album, Fear & Freedom, scheduled to be released on 17 August 2012.
