Richard N. Goodwin

Richard N. Goodwin was an American writer and presidential advisor. Goodwin was an aide and speechwriter to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, and to Senator Robert F. Kennedy. He was married to historian Doris Kearns Goodwin for 42 years until his death in 2018. Goodwin's memoirs "Remembering America" about his investigation into accusations of game-fixing by show producers was adapted into the 1994 Oscar-nominated film "Quiz Show". Goodwin also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
