Description:
Richard was born in Bangor, Wales while his New Zealand parents, Ian and Sue Mills, were on contract working in Anglesey on a construction project. The family moved back to Wellington, New Zealand while Richard was still a baby and have lived here ever since. The family moved around as Richard's father worked different civil engineering jobs, living for a few years each in Auckland, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty and then settling back in Wellington.
