Ray Rice is a running back for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Rutgers University, and was drafted by the Ravens in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. At the end of the 2012 season, he was ranked as the Ravens' second all-time leading rusher behind Jamal Lewis [7,801] with 5,520 yards, and also second in attempts (1216). He is ranked second all-time for rushing touchdowns (33) and third for combined touchdowns (36) in Ravens history.
