She pursued higher education with a focus on communication, first at Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication (2013). She continued on to the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism, with a minor in Cinematic Arts in 2016.
As a USC Trojan, she honed her skills in digital media and broadcasting, laying the foundation for her career. Casper's professional journey began in Tucson, Arizona, at KGUN-TV (2018) starting as a reporter and anchor for the 12 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. newscasts. She covered breaking news, including the COVID-19 pandemic and wildfires, and tackled investigative stories on Arizona's opioid crisis and the U.S.-Mexico border. KVOA-TV (June 2018–June 2022) Co-anchored the 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts alongside colleagues like Bradford and Glenn Jones. She led coverage of major events, earning recognition for her on-the-ground reporting during crises.
NBC10 Boston/NECN (August 2022–Present) Joined as an evening anchor and special assignment reporter. Notable stories include women's health funding cuts, endometriosis awareness, and innovative mental health treatments at McLean Hospital.
Her work has been featured across NBC affiliates, and she has received awards for her contributions to journalism, particularly in breaking news and community engagement. Casper maintains a private personal life, keeping details about her family—including parents, husband, and children—out of the public eye.
