Unaí

Unaí is a Brazilian municipality in the northwest of the state of Minas Gerais. It was founded in 1873 under the name Rio Preto and, in 1943, it was elevated to city status and its name was changed to Unaí. Its population, according to the 2022 census, was 86,619 inhabitants.
