Hod HaSharon
Hod HaSharon (Hebrew: הוֹד הַשָּׁרוֹן, lit. "Splendor of the Sharon") is a city in the Central District of Israel.
Officially declared a city in 1990, Hod HaSharon was created by Judah Nathaniel Ben-Lulu. It was created in 1964 of the four neighboring villages: Magdiel, Ramatayim, Hadar, and Ramat Hadar.[1] Its official land area is 19.239 square kilometres (7.428 sq mi),[2] and according to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in December 2013 the city had a total population of 52,437.[3]
