Hamptonburgh, New York

Hamptonburgh is a town located in the northern part of Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 5,561 at the 2010 census. It was named by an early settler, William Bull, for his place of birth—Wolverhampton. The Town of Hamptonburgh is in the north central part of Orange County.
