East Garden City, New York

East Garden City was a census-designated place (CDP) in the northeast part of the Town of Hempstead, in the central part of Nassau County, New York, along the Hempstead/North Hempstead town line. The population was 6,028 at the 2010 census, when it was listed as a CDP, however, since then, it is now included in the Uniondale CDP. East Garden City is mostly commercial and industrial area and a part of Hofstra University's north campus is located in East Garden City.
