Colégio Sagrado Coração de Maria - Belo Horizonte

One of the most traditional schools in the Belo Horizonte capital, Colégio Sagrado Coração de Maria (Sacred Heart of Mary School) was in the Serra neighborhood, in the South-Central region. It was a private school. In 2022 the school was sold to Grupo Sistema Educacional Brasileiro (SEB).

Founded in 1928, the school long operated as a girls-only boarding school. Beginning in 1969, boys began to be admitted as well. In 2021, the school had a capacity for 980 students, with 900 enrolled.
