České Meziříčí
České Meziříčí (formerly also Meříč, Mezřič, etc., German Böhmisch Meseritsch) is a village in the Hradec Králové Region in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou District. It lies at an altitude of 254 meters above sea level in a cadastral area with an area of 2,191 ha and has a population of approximately 2,000. The village has a kindergarten, an elementary school and a post office.
The name of the village comes from its geographical location between the rivers Labe, Metují and Orlice. The village itself lies on the Zlatý potok, which downstream bears the name Dědina.
