Description:
Pierre was born in Quebec City, Quebec Canada on the 9 day of January in 1925. His father, Paul-Gabriel Jalbert, supported the family working for a newspaper. Pierre is the youngest of the Jalbert siblings. He has two older brothers. Camille Jalbert (1919-2012), and Rene Jalbert (1921-1926).
Pierre, was an avid skier. So much so, that in 1948 he was considered one of Canada's best chances in bring home the gold in the Olympic's that year. Pierre was so good he was not only the captain of the junior ski team, he was also captain of the senior ski team.
