Phyllis A. Whitney

Phyllis A. Whitney was an American writer who was born in Japan. She wrote novels for both adults and children, and the ones geared toward adults were mystery-suspense, often set in exotic locations. Dubbed by The New York Times as "The Queen Of The American Gothics", Whitney had a very long life, and passed away in 2008 at the age of 104.
