Tylan Grant was born Talia Vanessa Grant on 9 October 2001 in London, to parents David and Carrie Grant. Grant also has three siblings; Olive, Arlo and Nathan.
Grant is the first openly autistic actor to appear in a mainstream TV soap (Hollyoaks), playing the autistic character, Brooke Hathaway.
As of 2023, Grant now identifies as trans. She has a history of mental illness and was hospitalised from it as a result of intense bullying at school.
