He was born Tarek Yassin Skylar on 5 December 1995 in the Canary Island of Tenerife, Spain, to his father Hassan Yassin, an Arab of Sierraleonian-Lebanese origin, and his mother Gwen Skylar, English born in Yorkshire. He holds dual nationality with Spain and the United Kingdom.
