Description:
Joe McGinnity was a right-handed pitcher in the late 19th and early 20th century who played for ten years in the major leagues, first for the National League's Baltimore Orioles (1899) and Brooklyn Superbas (1900), before jumping to the American League to play for the Baltimore Orioles (1901–1902). He returned to the NL with the New York Giants (1902–1908). McGinnity continued to pitch in the minor leagues, eventually retiring from baseball for good at the age of 54.
