Description: Oceano is a nasty, brutal American deathcore band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2006. The band signed to Earache Records in 2008 and subsequently released their debut album, Depths on April 7, 2009. Their upcoming second album, Contagion is set to be released November 9, 2010. The band was founded in 2006 by guitarist Jeremy Carrol. The band originally featured 6 members and performed at local venues in the Chicago area. Their most prominent song then was "Candyman".
