Nyta Dover, known mainly in the United States for her numerous recordings and television appearances, began her career in the Italian Cinema in the 40s & 50s. She worked with famed Italian director 'Roberto Rossilini' and Italian comic actor Toto on many of her films.
She was born Countess Antoinette de Chvalkovsky and was know as a cabaret performer in Europe and South America often called "La Contessa".
Her father was the foreign Minister of Czechoslovakia during the Nazi era. His story can be read in "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William L. Shirer. She spoke 10 languages fluently and
