Nayoung is a South Korean singer and musical actress under Goodman Story Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group [Link removed - login to see], its second sub-unit gugudan SEMINA, and a former member of the project girl group Sunny Girls.
In January 2016, Nayoung became a contestant on the survival show Produce 101. She ranked 14th place in the finale, thus being unable to debut with I.O.I.
On June 23, Nayoung was revealed as the second member of gugudan. The group officially debuted on June 28 with their first mini album Act.1 The Little Mermaid.
