Pretty Myrna Darby, 21, of the Ziegfeld shows, died today at her home.
The Ziegfeld office reported her physician as saying her heart was overtaxed this summer by an acute case of sunburn and strenuous swimming, but Broadway said it was heartbreak because of a recent cancellation of her engagement to a son of a millionaire manufacturer. Her heart trouble, according to Ziegfeld, has been prevalent since six months ago.
