Historically, Ash, now slimmed down to their original trio status following the departure of guitarist Charlotte Hatherley, have tended to unleash a poppier sounding album followed by a harder-edged collection of songs, but this time around the band have thrown a curveball into the mix with what could easily be described as their 'most complete' album to date.
