Description: New York City singer Lori Carson debuted with an album called Shelter in 1990. Produced by Hal Willner, Shelter captured a new singer overpowered by an experienced producer. An interesting experiment, it perhaps explains why her second album is such a dour, quiet affair. Produced by Anton Fier of Golden Palominos fame (and for whom Carson once sang), Where It Goes gets it closer to Carson's heart. Tracks such as "Twisting My Words," "Fell Into the Loneliness," and "Anyday" are top notch Carson but are also made a bit sterile by the carefully laid instrumental tracks.
