After relocating to the Finnish tropics of Tampere, Jaakko was discovered by rhythm guru Jay, whose single snare and ride are more than enough to fill out the beat when his boots are thumping the floorboards. Jay's accompaniments are the very definition of upbeat, furiously energetic yet attuned to every nuance from Jaakko's acoustic guitar, and always performed to bring out the spirit of celebrating life out of every tune whether it's melancholy, aggressive, or just solid acoustic folk punk.
