Description:
VOCALOID is a vocal synthesis program that uses recordings of human speech and singing to create another automated voice entirely, and is used for music.
VOCALOID vocals (also referred to as voicebanks and just "Vocaloids") have capabilities in multiple languages, including (but not limited to) English, Spanish, and Japanese.
Vocaloids have been released since 2004, and the releases have spanned across multiple 2-3 year eras. As of 2015, the most recent era is VOCALOID4.
