The Green Man

However, you can only pretend that you're deaf to these sounds for so long. I guess it's as long as it takes in my own case to be reminded about my roots in the scheme of things, and to want to return there once in a while. With 'The Green Man' I did just that. The whole of the writing and making of the record took me home to a place I don't visit as often as I should. The record is purely acoustic and the songs pertain to stages in life and imagination. There is much passion.

Jeff Martin of Canadian band 'The Tea Party' came over for a couple of weeks and put in some wonderful accompaniment. The Green Man, the ancient mystical figment of the power of regeneration was my major inspiration for this work and it seems like some ancient magics were made to work.
