"Got No Plans" harks back to jingle-jangle pop of "Cloudcuckooland", with its happy-go-lucky riff. Broudie, purposefully or not, seems to have stripped away the big production that he used often in the mid nineties with the Lightening Seeds, which seems to have enabled his ability as a tunesmith to come to the fore. Although some of the tracks on the album do become maudlin, particularly the title track (which lasts less than two minutes anyway), on the whole the selection of tunes are pleasant enough. This is an album that very easily washes over the listener, full of nice ditties you'll be humming for the next couple of weeks. --Jamie Clark
