The Stillness Is The Move 12inch single is the first new Dirty
Projectors release since 2007 s critically acclaimed album Rise
Above. It also marks their debut release for Domino Records. The
band formed around David Longstreth and has hosted a variety
of different members including one interation with members of
Vampire Weekend. The group now consists of Angel Deradoorian,
Amber Coffman, Brian McComber and David. In addition to the
April 21st release of Stillness Is The Move early 2009 sees the
release of the song Knotty Pine , a collaboration between Dirty
Projectors and David Byrne for the Red Hot series compilation
