Sonanta Suite

This album marks a fresh page in the history of Spanish music: Never before has there been a work for guitar and orchestra of such virtuosity, brilliance of colours and technical complexity been written or performed. Sonanta Suite, a concerto for guitar and orchestra, is a compelling work in the repertoire for these musical forces. The soloist is the Spanish flamenco guitarist Tomatito, who plays with Orquesta Nacional de Espa a under the baton of Josep Pons.
