Sixpence None The Richer's eponymous third album is more than the sum of the irresistibly saccharine single "Kiss Me" and their infamously wide-eyed cover of The La's "There She Goes". The band formed in Texas where they began performing at Christian meetings, and religious imagery features a great deal on such tracks as "The Waiting Room". However, this does not weigh as heavy on the songs as might be expected.
